Zari Daknema
I was born in the midst of the 1979 Iranian revolution in a politically charged family, int the years which followed tragedy strike my family, my two aunts, uncle, cousin and father were all executed by the Iranian regime.

I now live in Montreal, I have a BA in Political Science and am very interested in the struggle of my people, which is the demand for basic human rights and freedom of speech.

I want to share my family's story which the story of millions of other Iranian families and than I like to follow with what now, what could we do for our country today and what steps should we take as individuals to make sure a massacre like the1988 massacre doesn't happen again.
