VIDEOS OF 2008 EVENT PHOTO GALLERY PRESS REVIEW ART EXHIBITION

The Iranian dance group Khorshid Khanoom (ms.sun) founded by Aram Bayat in 1988 in Montreal for children and adults. It is very important for the Iranian people to conserve their heritage and to teach their art to the next generation, especially given the situation in Iran (dance has been prohibited in Iran Since 1979).  Iranian dance has a long and sacred tradition; it encompasses many varied and unique forms.

Khorshid Khanoom dance group has taken upon itself the responsibility of introducing traditional and folkloric Iranian dance to the young generation of Iranian Canadians, to citizens of the host country (Montreal, Canada) and to the world. Over the two decades, Khorshid Khanoom has worked in cooperation with Canadian & Iranian organizations to present Iranian dance around the country to people whom are unfamiliar of Iranian culture.
Over the years, Khorshid Khanoom has achieved tremendous success by providing instruction for a rapidly growing student body. The group has attracted much attention offering numerous independent performances on various occasions in Canada. U. S. and Europe.

Assistante artistique : Katherine Gauthier
Assistante technique : A Sasnzadeh

Assistante artistique : Katherine Gauthier
